Harry Potter and the missing day.

I had a good weekend. Thursday Dov, Eli, Dave and I went to mad 4 mex on the pretense of seeing Lesley who then bailed on us. We got drunk anyway and had a great time. Jo was there too. I woke up friday morning still drunk from the night before, and went to work. At work, we had just finished a new release of our software, so around 4 pm someone brought in three cases of beer and a bottle of brandy. Getting drunk at the office on someone else's dime while still getting paid is so cool. Then I went home and read a bit of Harry Potter. Saturday I.. uhh.. read harry potter. All of it. It's great. Only two more years until I can finish off the damn series (hopefully only two years).

Saturday night, Jo(x) and I went out to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which was ridiculously cool. It was so much more disturbing than the Gene Wilder version, and goddamn was Johnny Depp awesome. And the Oompa Loompa's were great too. Sunday morning I woke up and Avi's father was outside digging up tree stumps in the back yard, which made me feel really lazy and worthless, so I went outside and helped. Then I made french toast for breakfast, and did more yardwork. We were digging around in the backyard and found that there was an awesome slate and mortar patio int he backyard, that had been buried until a few inches of dirt and glass. So we dug it out, and now our backyard kicks some serious ass. Then sunday night I went to Eli's and hung out with Jo and Seth. We drank and played smash and then went out to Moriarty's and ran into Pat. Good times.

Today we made sushi for lunch. Mmmm... salmon.
