Also, I just saw a commercial for a Best of Live album, which will include one of the singles they never released before, "Deal in Dreams"! I saw them do it live waaaaaay back during the Throwing Copper tour, and it's still one of my favorites. I'm psyched that they're finally releasing it.

okay, well focusing on the really important thing - the fact that 'throwing copper' makes me think of ninth grade [y'all's 11th] and jeez i can't believe how long ago that was. this is the most important thing going on in the world right now.

judah, i noticed the same thing this morning when whyy/npr woke me up: everything was about kerry/bush. 'arafat is very ill and this has far-reaching implications, in other news bush said "we're gonna get 'em" and kerry said "we're gonna get 'em first" and bush was routing for the cardinals' i mean come on.

philadelphia is plastered with reminders to vote: in the lobby of my apartment building, at work [obviously], on the corner where gay people hand out rainbow kerry/edwards pins and my hetero coworkers buy them because they're pretty [and have no idea they're announcing their homosexuality to the world by wearing them], in reading terminal market, in ads on the subway, passing people on the street, telemarketing, emails, web ads. it's sick. [but i appreciate it i guess.]
