Yeah, so tons of stuff goin on these days, a lot of it crappy, but a good amount of non crap too.

First, the crappy stuff...

El Presidente got reelected (or should I say elected?). Sucks on soooo many levels. Jobs will be lost, rights abridged, second class citizens oppressed, america's spiraling unpopularity will continue. My only hope now is that for one reason or another a lot of the cabinet will leave. Today they all handed in their customary resignations, so here's hoping that by some miracle rumsfeld, ashcroft and ridge will either be fired or choke on their own evil tongue's and die.

Also, I continue to feel like my life is on hold when I'm living at home. It makes it harder to go out and do stuff, and by the time I get home I'm too tired and it's too late to do anything. Keeping in touch with people is also a pain in the ass... I suck at it. And to top things off, I just found out that a good friend of mine just broke up with her boyfriend of a year and a half, and she seems pretty upset about it, but I cant get her on the phone to talk.

However, that's not to say that life sucks. Lots of cool stuff is going on too, like I have seen a few people recently that I had almost totally lost touch with, which was cool. Also, I have finally found an apartment, so I'm moving in next week. It's a totally awesome place, a 7 bedroom victorian in west philly with only two other roommates, one of whom is the landlord (a drexel doctoral student), and almost everything has been rehabbed at this point. It's hot.

Plus, I'm going to Boston this weekend, so that's totally cool. I haven't seen Alon since he got engaged, and I haven't been up there in a month or two, which is a loooong ass time for me. Hoping to see the old roommates, Dave, Jess and Anna... I should probably tell them I'm coming. Dov is coming with me, and I might also be picking up an old friend of Lyle and Fensterheim's. Then sunday we're all going to go play paintball. Then wednesday I move into my new apartment.
