Yesterday, all my troubles kicked my ass

Yesterday sucked on so many levels. Actually, it only really started to suck around 4 or so. First, I found out my ski trip was going to be cut from 7 days to 4, which sucks, but whatever. Then, the zipper on my favorite jeans broke. Sucks to my assmar. When I was leaving work, I ended up standing out in the cold for a good half an hour because of a complete brain fart inability to decide whether to go buy meat and cook it, buy food on the way home, or make due with what I had at home. Laziness and cheapness got the best of me and I ate poorly as a result. Then I got home, and our phone line is broken, so our DSL doesn't work. It won't be fixed until at least thursday. Then, As my roommates were cooking dinner (which was much better than mine because they went out and bought stuff, unlike my lazy/cheap ass), I decided to have a beer. It wasn't a twist off bottle, so I was using a crappy bottle opener, and the bottle broke in my hand, and I cut myself pretty deeply in two places on my hand. Fun.

Maybe today will be better. I hope so.

nope, poorly made glass is my mortal enemy. Or maybe god was trying to tell me not to drink beer. After I patched myself up though, I poured myself a new one. That showed him!

we're going to vermont, to Okemo. A friend of mine from BU has a cousin who has a house up there, and she (my friend, not he cousin) invited a few of our fellow BU people and myself up there for a ski thingie. It should be fun. If you want to go skiing sometime before then, I'd definitely like to get some skiing in some other time. I like skiing. I'd never gone before last year thouhg. so I feel like I have some catching up to do.

I would love to go skiing before then but I don't know when then is and also I'm trying not to spend money right now. Except on soy chicken salad hoagies, obviously. [I realized after we parted ways that they charged me for a hoagie when I only got a pita. Boo. But the person with the tattood-on eyebrows was clearly new with the register...] But I so love skiing. I think I've only gone twice but both times were amazing. Maybe it was three times. Do you know how much it costs usually?
