First, I made a backdated entry for monday covering the weekend. It's short (considering the stuff that happened) and to the point.

Ok, so I've been really unhappy this week, for a variety of reasons, most of which I'll keep to myself. Some weird stuff has happened. Lets see... on monday Avi and I decided to take this guy Micah as our new roommate. He's a cool guy. Teacher from New Orleans. Claims he can drink either of us under the table. I don't doubt it. He moved in, we all went out to Pod for dinner. Good sushi, and not that pricey. Drinks were expensive though. And Goddamn, the non-sushi food is expensive. Oh, and both my brother and mother threw out their backs on monday. Weird, eh?

I ordered some more RAM and an HDTV tuner card for my computer so that we can watch the super bowl in HD. Should be really cool if it works. We're going to borrow the projector from the office to watch it with. Newegg then gave me a huge hassle about my shipping address and phone number not being on file with the credit card company. Plus, they were really damn slow about letting me know there was a problem, so as a result, it's thursday and my overnight order from monday hasn't got here yet. If it doesn't get here tomorrow, I'll be goddamn pissed off.

Last night I hung out with Ali, and we watched Undercover Brother and talked about Dani's wedding, which we are both going to. She asked me who I was taking, and I realized I hadn't even considered that part. And I would like to bring someone. it would be fun. It's a black tie wedding at one of the fanciest hotels in Philly. Sadly, my chances of landing an actual girlfriend in time to take her are iffy at best. Maybe I should just take a friend? Maybe I should hire a hooker? Ok... bad idea. Walked home afterward, thinking all sorts of weird things, thought up a neat idea for a movie, considered how I should go about getting a date, the usual dumb shit. Got home, read my e-mail, and a family friend had died. Couldn't get to sleep for hours.

I need a vacation.

With a hooker you are guarenteed to get some afterwards. But, you know, girls think wedding are romatic (come one now, love, bubbley dancing), so if you find a date date (as opposed to a "date") it might help you get some. Oh, I mean a girlfiend. Same thing.

no, you should take a trophy girlfriend - bring a hot female-presenting friend who nobody will know and tell everyone she's your girl. [this is what i did at my junior prom when i dropped out, only with a boy.] this is the most fun game to play.
