Still kickin...

Things are doing well. Danielle Schieber got married on sunday, and all I can say about the wedding is... wow. As in, holy crap! Fun wedding... Surprisingly few people from Akiba though. Lots of good food and drink, and the Bellevue is an architecturally stunning building.
When Ali was coming over to pick me up for hte wedding, I walked outside and she was double parked in the left lane of walnut street. She had her blinkers on, and there were still two and a half open lanes, and very little traffic (it was sunday afternoon, after all). However, the lady who was driving behind her on walnut, a heavyset black woman driving an ugly ass durango, decided that double parking was a goddamn inexcusable crime. She apparently didn't think she had enough room to go around, and rather than backing up a few feet, proceeded to lean on her fucking horn for a few minutes. Literally. When I was walking down my front steps to the car, the lady got out of her durango and started yelling at ali to move her fucking car. She was fucking psychotic. It was nuts. I walked around, and Luke let me into the back seat. right after I got in, the lady realized, oh... I actually do have enough room to go around, and drove past, rolled her window down and kept yelling... luke told her to move her fat ass along, at which point the durango went past, and pulled over in front of us. Both the driver and passenger got out this time, and a lot of yelling ensued. Finally, we got luke back in the car and sped off to the wedding... but jesus. What the fuck was wrong with those women?
That's about all that's going on in my life right about now. I'm going on vacation after work today. Going up to boston tonight, then up to vermont tomorrow for five days of skiing, cooking and hanging out with some great friends. Thanks the fucking lord. I needed a vacation badly.
Also, I'd like to thank everyone that responded to my last post, that was a huge ego boost. I should bitch more often.
