Rather than firming up plans for what to do tonight, I'm postponing my
own birthday until sometime next week. I could barely muster up the
energy to get to work today, and I just don't think I'd be very good

Sorry, we're going to go with thursday. It's better for me. You should come out late though. I will be drunk and acting weird. Probably. Who am I kidding... definitely.

okay, i'm going to tell you something you should take as a big compliment:
if you're really doing this 5/5:30 style thing, i will come then and hang out with you.

i do not, as a rule, go to bars. but it's your birthday. and let's be honest, there is a part of me that would love to see you drunk and acting weird. so get drunk fast, okay?
