Random thoughts plus "Why NPR Rules"
Jun. 14th, 2004 01:17 pmNPR Rules. Want to know why? Well, aside from being the most intelligent and least hysterical news you can find, they also frequently play awesome musical interludes by bands that I rarely get to hear on so called music stations. Like all truly cool people, they obviously have an affinity for Radiohead, and not just the few radio ready singles. They play the odd ones, such as I Will, Where I End and You Begin, Packt Like Sardines in a Crushd Tin Box, and National Anthem. Also, they just played Massive Attack's "Dissolved Girl". Other things I have recently heard on NPR: Morcheeba, Bela Fleck, and I'm pretty sure I heard LTJ Bukem in there as well.
Well, I had a lot more to say, but at the moment, I don't have time to write it. Maybe a bit later.
