Another cool weekend

Ok, so you might have noticed that the only things I really talk about happen on the weekends. There's a simple reason for that. Nothing cool happens during the week. At least, not to me anyway.

Ya know what's cool? I drove a Porsche convertible this weekend. That's right, who wants to touch me. It was incredible. Finicky as hell, but incomparably responsive, fast, and small. I barely fit inside. I'll post pictures soon. I've never posted a picture to my journal before, but this merits a break in format. Because Porsche's rule.

Umm, I did other cool things this weekend too, but none of them compare, so I won't bother mentioning them.

C'mon, you can't give us an explanation? How did you come to drive the Porsche? Did you wear your three-piece-suit and entrepeneur glasses down to the dealership so they thought you could afford their cars? What what what?

No, no... nothing so cool as duping a Porsche dealership. Hmmm... there is one down the street from me, maybe I should try that. Anyway, the new Cantor at my synagogue was GIVEN, that's right, GIVEN!! a 94 Porsche 968 Convertible as a going away present from his last congregation. Oh man I want it.

Interestingly, I also found out this weekend that my step mothers brother in law just bought a Ferrari. Not sure what kind, but does it really matter? Goddamn I want to drive that. Maybe I can at least get a ride...

Wow.. you know people with cool cars. I only know one person who has enough money to buy cars and he just bought a cayenne. I think. I dont know what it is (I saw it in the dark)

So here I find myself again, lurking in live journal. What a crappy place to be crouching in the bushes like the dirty-Charles I know myself to be, but, nevertheless, I cannot resist. Anyway, Judah, the cayenne, or however you spell it, is a bastardization of automotive engineering and ingenuity. It is, in fact, a Porsche - it's actually the greatest mistake Porsche ever made - even more egregious than the boxter, which is one of my least favorite cars ever. If Ferrari ever comes out with an SUV, SAV, or SUSMAV (sport utility suck my ass vehicle) I will dig a whole, rend my garments, don sacloth, sprinkle ashes of mourning upon my dome, and neglect to shake following urination theretoafter.
Sometimes I don't know if the words I use are real ones, so I don't keep a live journal of my own. At least my typing is more legible than my handwriting, mostly because I have access to spell checker (which I have already had to use on at least 5 words) on the computer. whatever... Leave me alone!

My entire trip to New York didn't rate mention, and that included seeing you (which was awesome) and seeing a bunch of close friends who I haven't seen in a year or two.

Driving a porsche was about the coolest thing I've ever done. In my mind anyway...
