I haven't posted in a loooooooooooooooong time. I'm going to ignore that and press on as if nothing happened.

I made a really good dinner last night for Alli and Ali (confusing, eh?). We had pork tenderloin medallions wrapped in bacon, with an apple brandy pan sauce... oven roasted asparagus, and a green salad. And bread... It was super awesome. Really though, there is no savory dish that isn't improved by bacon.

Saturday afternoon I'm going with my realtor to look at houses to buy. I'm simultaneously excited and terrified by the prospect of owning a house/condo.

Also, Alli is moving in with me at the end of the month! (yay!)

And now, politics... I think I'm going to volunteer for Joe Biden's presidential campaign. I've been thinking about it for a while, but really, this pushed me over the top:

Hee! Not only was that dinner delicious, but my labmates were convinced I had brought in restaurant food when I got out the leftovers.

It was great fun up until someone proposed we each try a bite of each other's meal. The verdict?
Her: "Oh, um, I really don't like tomatoes, I'm sorry."
Me: "Wow this cow stomach lining has such an...interesting...texture..."
Her: "It should be more cold and chewy, but I decided to heat it up. Do you like it?"
Me: "Um...it's very interesting..."
Her: "Yes, cows have four different stomachs, and each lining tastes different."
Me: "Wow"


Anyway. Also, I can't believe you didn't mention the Jew Bowl! Our friends have a right to know that in 4 months or so we might be televised in all our glorious, drunken idioc...At least it's for a good cause (:
